Get Going to the Shade City Brewfest

The Shade City Brewfest is a groovy ’70s-inspired, sustainability-driven, beer-filled jamboree taking place at the Idaho Botanical Gardens on April 22nd and 23rd!

Featuring live music, food, and beer from over 30 local and regional breweries, this 21+ year-old event is brand new to the entertainment scene in Boise. In addition to promoting Boise’s budding breweries, the Shade City Brewfest champions sustainability by urging folks to take active, sustainable transportation to and from the event (and bring personal, reusable cups to enjoy the array of brews on tap).

Take a Sustainable Trip to Shade City Brew Fest

There are a variety of ways to hop on over to the Fest and get hopped up!

We recommend using the new Umo App (Google Store/Apple Store) to help you plan your trip, buy a bus ticket, and get to your destination! It’s easy, convenient, and all at the touch of your fingers.

Whether you hop on a bus with your bike to hit up the Social Ride at Boise Bicycle Project HQ (1127 South Lusk Street) on Friday at 6 PM or you take a bus to Main Street Station to take Lost Grove’s hourly Brew Fest Shuttle, we recommend the following routes and park and rides to get you to the Fest.

Getting Back Home

As always, plan accordingly! Social events are fun for everyone, but no one should bike or drive drunk.

While the Lost Grove shuttle will take folks back to Main Street Station each night, it might be wise to have a designated driver or to hail a Lyft or Uber using our Umo App. Simply open the app, scroll to the bottom of the front page, and touch one of the buttons to hail either a Lyft or an Uber to get you home!
