Track Trips in Share The Ride Idaho

Looking to complete 10 or more bus/transit trips for a free 31-day bus pass this May? Great! we’re here to help make sure you’re successful.

How to Log Trips

  1. Navigate over to Share The Ride Idaho and create an account or log in (if you’ve registered before).

  2. Once you’re logged in, make your way to the “Log Your Trips” section of the landing page (see image).

  3. In the calendar view at the right, make sure the date your logging trips for is highlighted. A light blue circle should surround the date if you’ve selected it correctly.

  4. In the section to the left, there will be a box that says “Click here to enter custom locations.” Two additional boxes for “Starting Point” and “Destination” should appear.

  5. Enter your starting address and your destination address. The system will try to automatically locate each address so it can calculate the proper mileage covered for your trip(s).

  6. Enter your “Departure” and “Return” times if you’re doing a round-trip. If you’re only doing a single trip with one mode, select “No Return Trip.” (If you’re only doing a one-way trip, you’ll need to enter another trip with a different departure time later to properly log two or more trips.)

  7. Select the mode of travel you're using from the dropdown under “Mode of Travel.” (For this promotion, you’ll need to select “Transit,” which covers the bus system.)

  8. Click the green button that says “Log Trip” or “Log 2 Trips".

  9. That’s it! You’re all done! From here, you’ll want to make sure you log 10 or more transit trips to earn a 31-day bus pass, which will be shared through Share The Ride Idaho in June 2022.

Get going with your commute today! By taking transit, you’re helping take cars off the road, which helps improve air quality, traffic, and our community as a whole.
